Jewelry ideas for Greek pendant?
My friend went to Greece over the summer and she bought me a Greek pendant. It has an eye in it (she said the Greeks are superstitious about the "stink eye", and its supposed to guard against evil from it). On the outer ring it's dark blue, then for the "iris" of the eye it's a light blue, then white then a black dot for the pupil. (I think.)
Does anybody have any ideas on how I could transform this into a piece of pretty jewelry? Or would it just look too weird to have an "eye" around my neck, wrist, etc.?
If I were you, I'd find a really long chain to hang it on. When you have a traditional-length necklace, it easily draws attention to the design, since it usually will sit on your skin, close to your neck. Make it look more casual by putting it on a super long chain and layering it with another necklace or two.
